 About Cindi

I know the pressures of marriage, parenting, family and work. I’ve been married for 40 years a mom for 32, and a grandma for 3. Throughout my life I've worked in corporate and non-profit jobs, schools, libraries, churches, and even the zoo. While I hold a deep faith in Jesus, I care for, respect, and enjoy working with my clients of all faiths.

One of my specialties is working with women experiencing anxiety, grief or times of transition. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of my clients - from cognitive behavioral and emotion-focused therapy to mindfulness and compassion training. I am also trained in Attachment- Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems to assist with healing from trauma. Additionally, I served as a group facilitator in the Bereavement Program at Swedish Edmonds Hospital and understand grief work.

My favorite activities are: spending time with my husband, gardening, playing with my dog Manny, cooking, playing pickleball, studying theology, learning about neuroscience, and being out in nature.  I also cherish time with my adult children and grandchildren!
